The Construction Users Round Table (CURT) is CIF's Stragetic Partner and proud co-sponsor of the NOVA Awards. The NOVA Awards presentation is held in conjunction with CURT's annual conference, which is recognized as one of the construction industry's premier gatherings and is attended by more than 500 domestic and international members of the construction industry, including owners, contractors, architectural and engineering firms, and labor and media representatives. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, CURT represents more than 100 of the nation's top construction purchasers, the majority of whom are Fortune 500 companies.
National Block Kids Award

CIF recognizes the winner of the National Block Kids Award at the NOVA Awards banquet each year. The
Block Kids program is sponsored by the National Association of Women in Construction Education Foundation, and
recognizes some of the nation's youngest and brightest innovators. Each year, the Block Kids Program gives
more than 6,000 elementary school children a chance to try their hands at construction innovation. The
timed competition challenges youngsters to conceive, plan and build a structure using materials like
string, poster board and aluminum foil. Volunteers judge the projects in local, regional and
national competitions.
