CIF Seeks Sponsors for the CONSTRUCTION INNOVATION SCHOLAR PROGRAM

The Construction Innovation Forum (CIF) is seeking sponsors for its Construction Innovation Scholar Program (CISP), an exciting program to benefit the construction industry, students, and universities. The CISP opens a new opportunity through which individuals or organizations can support construction innovation and education by sponsoring Construction Innovation Scholars in a master's degree program focused on construction and the built environment. Under the CISP, each sponsor funds a Scholar through a research grant to a professor at a university selected by the sponsor.

Sponsors select a construction innovation topic of interest to them and/or a university program they wish to support. Graduate students in any area of facilities construction or management can be supported as Construction Innovation Scholars, including engineering, management, technology, architecture, business administration, or natural resources. A typical sponsorship grant will be about $10,000 per semester of study to support a Scholar as a half-time research assistant on the construction innovation topic under the direction of the supervising professor.

The Construction Innovation Forum (CIF) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization formed in 1987 to recognize and encourage innovations that improve the quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness of construction. The CIF presents the NOVA Awards at the Construction Innovation Celebration each year to the world's most outstanding construction innovations.
